NEUROAFFIRMATIVE ADULT
autism assessment
Feel seen and heard,
Guaranteed.
Don’t risk it.
Many of the professionals responsible for autism assessments are not familiar with the ways that autism manifests in low-support-need, high-masking adults; especially people who are Assigned Female at Birth.
Every Body Heals Therapy offers assessments by an AuDHD, Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist, using neuroaffirmative diagnostic frameworks created by neurodivergent professionals who understand how vulnerable this process can feel.
There’s a great deal of misinformation about who is qualified to assess for and diagnose autism. In the state of California, LMFTs can diagnose their current clients with DSM-5 diagnoses, as long as they have adequate knowledge of and training in the diagnostic measures.
While we cannot guarantee an autism diagnosis, we can guarantee that the process will feel affirming, understanding, warm, and supportive.
My diagnostic process tends to take 3-6 sessions of 50 minutes each with 1-2 hours of paperwork and screeners completed independently by the client prior to assessment.

WHAT I WORK WITH
-
That’s ok! Our diagnostic assessment is comprehensive- we are looking to rule-in or rule-out commonly co-occurring or misdiagnosed diagnoses that look very similar to autism.
-
Schedule a free 15-minute consultation. It's a chance to share what's bringing you in, ask questions, and get a feel for whether it's a good fit. There's no pressure or obligation — just a conversation.

For assessment, it’s $175 per 50 minute session, and the assessment process tends to take 3-6 sessions.
-
Both. I see clients in person at my office in Placerville, CA (681 Main Street, Suite 217), and via telehealth for clients throughout California and Oregon. We can figure out what works best for you.

You have the right to a formal autism diagnosis. This diagnosis can qualify you for disability leave/pay and/or accommodations at work. Sometimes we just want to know. This is the place to find out, at your own pace.
